Mason Jar Sriracha Shrimp Caesar Salad



A tasty Caesar salad that you can take with you that has a spicy twist thanks to the Sriracha shrimp. The lettuce in this Mason jar salad will stay crisp until you're ready to eat it!

Ingredients:

  • 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Caesar dressing
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon croutons
  • 1 Mason jar quart-sized

Instructions:

Put the shrimp in a bowl and add the olive oil, Sriracha sauce, salt, and pepper

Heat a pan over medium-high heat

Add the shrimp and cook for two to three minutes on each side, until they are pink and done

Leave to cool

Place your salad in the Mason jar one layer at a time

Put the Caesar dressing at the bottom of the list

The cucumber dice should be put on top of the dressing

Put the cucumber on top of the cherry tomatoes

Then add the romaine lettuce that has been cut up

On top of the lettuce, put the shrimp that has been cooked

Put some grated Parmesan cheese on top of the shrimp

Last, put croutons on top of the salad to finish

Put the Mason jar lid on tight and put it in the fridge until you're ready to eat

When you're ready to eat, just shake the jar to spread the dressing out

You can then pour the salad into a bowl or eat it straight from the jar
