Daughter's Dinner in a Dash - Student One-Pot Chicken!
This chicken recipe only needs one pot and is quick and easy. It's great for busy students. You can have a tasty and healthy meal on the table quickly because it doesn't take long to prepare or cook.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup rice
Instructions:
Warm up a big pan with olive oil over medium-low heat
After you add the chicken breasts, cook for about 5 minutes on each side until both sides are browned
Take it out of the pan and set it aside
To the same pan, add the minced garlic, chopped onion, and chopped bell pepper
About 3 minutes of cooking will soften the food
Chicken broth, dried oregano and basil, salt, and pepper should all be stirred in now
Put the chicken breasts back in the pan
Put the lid on top and cook for 20 minutes
Cover the pan and let it cook for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until the rice is done and the chicken is soft
Enjoy while hot!
